Richland Towers has positioned itself to be a leader in providing facilities to the Land Mobile Radio industry. Although Richland’s core business is broadcast towers, we have made a major investment into making our broadcast towers LMR friendly.
Projects Using the Richland Master Antenna System:
Orlando The two way system in Orlando currently has a UHF trunking system and a VHF Federal Government Agency using the Master Antenna System. A 900 MHz trunking system is testing the tower site.
Nashville In Nashville, there is an 800 MHz trunking system preparing to install on our antenna system and we are currently talking to an air freight delivery service using 900 MHz equipment.
Missouri City, Cedar Hill South (Dallas), Kansas City, Knoxville, and Sacramento Richland will be installing a T-Band UHF trunking system, a 900 MHz school bus system and a VHF trunking system in all of these markets.
Other Richland Solutions:
Dallas In Dallas, a major dispatch operator has a large VHF two way system on a 1,000 foot platform.
The Richland master antenna systems are comprised of the following components:
-
3 1/8” Heliax transmission line for the transmit antenna system.
-
VHF, UHF, 800 MHz trunking and 900 MHz trunking compatible.
-
A TX-RX Systems, Inc. tower top amplifier and multi-coupler for the receive system.
-
Tower top amp provides filtering and amplification for UHF, 800 MHz trunking and 900 MHz trunking systems.
-
1 ¼” Heliax transmission line for the receive to provide a strong, clean signal to the receivers.
-
High gain, broadband antennas.
-
12 foot antenna mounts to provide an omni directional pattern.
-
A dedicated, secure, air-conditioned equipment room for LMR equipment.
If the customer prefers, the towers are equipped with platforms with Telco and power. All platforms are accessible by an elevator in the tower. The railings on the platform were designed to support LMR antennas or antennas can be mounted on the tower above or below the platform to eliminate RF exposure issues. All facilities are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
